 Lieb.werk Warranty Terms and Conditions
=======================================

1. General Warranty Definition
------------------------------

 The warranty terms are defined in the official Price Quotation, Price Agreement, Contract, or Purchase Order. If no such document has been issued, the warranty does not apply to accessories, maintenance, service, or cleaning. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the standard warranty period for Lieb.werk products is two (2) years from the date of delivery. Any extended or special warranty must be explicitly stated in the Price Quotation, Price Agreement, Contract, or Order.

2. Proof of Purchase
--------------------

 To claim warranty rights, the customer must provide a valid contract, invoice, or other proof of purchase. Without this documentation, Lieb.werk reserves the right to reject the warranty claim. Customers are therefore advised to retain all proof of purchase carefully.

3. Claim Notification Procedure
-------------------------------

 If a defect is discovered and the warranty may apply, the customer shall notify Lieb.werk via email or phone through the Sales Department. The customer must provide the necessary information, such as: project number or luminaire number, project or luminaire name, and a description and photographic evidence of the defect.

4. Claim Handling
-----------------

 The Sales Department will proceed according to the internal Customer Complaint Resolution Procedure. After receiving the non-conforming product at Lieb.werk’s premises, the manufacturer will analyse the defect and determine its cause. Following the analysis, the Sales Department will inform the customer whether the claim is accepted or rejected, including a written explanation. If the complaint is accepted, the next steps (repair, replacement, or other corrective measures) will be agreed upon with the customer. Unless otherwise agreed, Lieb.werk shall remedy an accepted defect within 30 days from the date of claim receipt, at the manufacturer’s expense.

5. Warranty Exclusions
----------------------

The warranty does not apply to the following cases:

- Defects or damages related to light bulbs or replaceable light sources.
- Defects caused by the customer's improper handling, modification, or negligence.
- Defects caused by a third party or by transport not organized by Lieb.werk.
- Defects resulting from regular wear and tear or normal usage.
- Defects caused by installation contrary to the Installation Manual.
- Defects caused by inappropriate mounting, attachment, or electrical connection.
- Defects resulting from procedures performed in contradiction with the Product Care Manual.
- Defects caused by the use of light sources other than those defined or approved by Lieb.werk.
- Defects caused by installation in environments unsuitable for the product’s design or IP rating.
- Defects caused by force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, fire, flood, voltage surges, etc.).

6. Warranty Authority
---------------------

 Lieb.werk reserves the exclusive right to grant, deny, or modify the terms and conditions under which warranty services are provided. No distributor, reseller, or third party is authorized to make commitments or guarantees on behalf of Lieb.werk without the manufacturer’s prior written consent.
